Jurassic Quest: See a herd of life-size animatronic dinosaurs, meet baby dinos and watch a live interactive raptor show. Other activities include dinosaur rides, a giant fossil dig, inflatables and a fossil science exhibit. 1982 Summer Movie Series: The Summer Classic Movie Series celebrates the 40th anniversary of select films. Rising Above! Youth Explosion: This fifth annual event for kids in grades 6-12 provides free breakfast and lunch with lots of games and contests. From 10:30-11:15 a.m. Wednesday, the USA Dunk Team will entertain with acrobatic basketball and the Clearwater Threshers Fun Team will be on hand. From noon to 3 p.m. Thursday,, the Ultimate Gaming Experience and the Street Game Virtual Bus will be there, plus there will be stations to build a robot and make a lava lamp. Cocktails and Collections: In Person: The museum’s Cocktails and Collections is back in person, with live entertainment, customized docent tours of special exhibitions and collections galleries and art-inspired signature cocktails. Raptors: This interactive and educational experience features birds of prey from around the world, including the Aplomado falcon and the Harris hawk. The flighted exhibition takes place at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. daily on the Florida Aquarium’s scenic rooftop terrace. Runs through Sept. 5. Included with admission. Dinosaurs Around the World: The exhibit of animatronic dinosaurs takes visitors on a journey back in time to a super-continent filled with roaring creatures including Tyrannosaurus rex.
