My passion is journalism and hunt stories to share with our growing and diverse Hispanic community. I graduated from Xavierian University (Colombia). I am an award-winning journalist: worked in Colombia in Diners Magazine and a government publication. Also, I wrote for a children’s magazine. My journey in the U.S. started in 2004 joining soon The Tampa Tribune as multimedia journalist of CENTRO Tampa. I had the opportunity to became editor of CENTRO Tampa now part of Tampa Bay Times. I have become very entrenched in the Hispanic community and am always available for local events and breaking stories. I enjoy good movies, following soccer, boxing and practice extreme sports with my husband. I've always had dogs. Last year my two dogs went to the canine’s heaven and said goodbye to their feline brother ‘Bernie’ who has graciously allowed us to share his home.
